This light gingham fabric immediately evokes a summer feeling. In a fresh green-white colourway it is perfect for a warm summer day. With a very fine weave, the fabric feels cool against the skin and has some stiffness to it. What’s special about this fabric is that it barely wrinkles. While this makes it a bit more challenging to sew, as it doesn’t hold a press well, the final garment is very easy to care for.
The fabric is perfect for houses or light dresses. Edina made a wide blouse with gathers from a Japanese pattern book.
