For a long time, boiled wool was associated with traditional jackets. But it has become clear that this great material can look really cool. You can sew great coats or relaxed overshirts with it. As the fabric has been fulled, the cut edges do not fray. You can play with it by attaching pockets without seam allowances and you don't have to serge seams.
Boiled wool has also become very popular for children's clothing in recent years: It keeps warm without making you sweat.
